the edge of the Cornish cliffs that is ! (a bit of Aerosmith for you)
I was rather dreading today's Cornish Coastal marathon & even more so when the Endurancelife organisers announced it was the toughest of their events - I did the Gower Coastal which was hoffific !
We set off from a Golf club & headed straight for the Cornish cliffs - it was very much a race of 2 halfs the first half along the cliffs & the second half a flatter inland section across moorland.
I managed to get lost by 2 miles whilst chatting away but still managed to get round in 5.46.01
It was tough but as I beat my Gower time by about 30 seconds that means Gower is tougher - simples !
Was a long hard day at the office but number 83 is done & in the record books.
Other song titles were "the first cut is the Deepest"
As I was indeed cut battered & bruise after 3 falls although my falls weren't as hard hitting as my mate Michaels who really did look battle worn by the time he came home.
Another day at "the office" beckons tommorrow with the Shakespeare marathon in Stratford upon Avon.
Keep on running
